    A. General
    1. To change this, update the app name in your Partner Dashboard, and then come back to save this form.

    2. Don't worry about choosing a category. When you submit your app for publication, we'll make sure it goes where merchants will be best able to find it.

    3. Whenever a customer reviews your app, we’ll send a notification to this email address. We'll also notify you when existing reviews are updated or deleted.

    B. App Card App card publishing
    1. A great app banner is bright and beautiful, and tells your merchants what the app does. Make the merchant want to hover over it to get more details! Here are a few tips:

      • Include a short description of your app.
      • Keep the corners square. We round the corners for you when we display the banner.
      • Don't use a white background. Use bold colors and patterns that are recognizable.
      • Make it simple. Focus on one or two visual elements — no one likes clutter.
      • Be consistent. The icon and banners for your app should look like they belong to the same brand and product.

    1. A great demo of your app in action will help persuade merchants to spend time learning about and installing the app. We recommend using this spot as an opportunity to market the app's features and benefits, and saving in-depth tutorial videos for app onboarding.

      Length: Keep it short – two minutes tops.

    2. List three reasons why your app is a must-have tool. How does it help merchants save time or make money? These points should highlight app benefits, not features.

    3. Tell your merchants all about your app. Now's the time to go into detail about the three big reasons your app will make merchants more successful. This is also the place to list concrete features.

    4. How much does your app cost? You can use the Haravan Billing API or your own payment collection method to collect fees.

      Please review section 11 of the Partner Terms for information on revenue sharing and payment responsibilities if you aren't using the Haravan Billing API.

    5. We offer a free trial for days.

      If you don't have a free trial, add one. Even if it’s only for one day, a free trial gives merchants time to play with your app and see what it does first-hand. Seeing a payment screen immediately after install can put people off, and you’ll lose customers as a result.

    6. Including a phone number does great things for your install rates; it boosts merchants' confidence that a real person stands behind the app. Check out options like Google Voice and Grasshopper for easy ways to set up voicemail that forwards to your email.

      Having an email address and a website for sales and support is also a definite must. Merchants will feel more comfortable knowing that you’ll be there just in case.

      You must provide at least one support contact method (phone, email or website).

    7. Showing merchants a collection of clear and well-cropped screenshots of your application's features makes a huge difference. If there's a storefront element to your app, show it in action. If you're inserting links into the Haravan admin, highlight them.
